Asthma is a condition that affects the airways; the small tubes that carry air in and out of the lungs.
North Brink Practice operates regular asthma clinics to diagnose and review patients.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the name for a collection of lung diseases including chronic bronchitis, emphysema and chronic obstructive airways disease. People with COPD have trouble breathing in and out; this is referred to as airflow obstruction. These breathing difficulties are caused by long-term damage to the lungs, usually because of smoking. Much like our asthma clinics, we also operate regular COPD clinics to diagnose and review patients.

For one week only we will be conducting a trial to further expand our current clinical triage system. From the 21st July to the 25th July patients will be able to submit a triage request between the hours of 8am and 6:30pm. This is part of a larger project to expand our triage capacity and provide a more consistent service to our patients.
