NHS health checks are available every five years to people aged between 40 and 74. The purpose of a Health Check is to check both circulatory and vascular health in order to detect potential problems before they can cause damage. These problems include type 2 Diabetes, kidney disease and heart disease.
An NHS health check consists of measuring your height and weight, asking questions surrounding your family history, checking your cholesterol/blood pressure and asking some simple lifestyle questions.
The health checks are carried out by our Healthcare Assistants. If you think you may be eligible for an NHS health check, please call us on 01945 660460 or visit our reception.

There was an incident over the weekend where part of the wall in our rear car park collapsed. The rubble has been cleared however, to ensure both patient and staff safety it has been decided to restrict access for cars to enter the car park. Patients can still walk in and enter via the rear entrance however they will need to park in the Chapel Road car park. One of the gates has been closed and barriers have been erected to guide patients around the hazard until we are able to have the wall fully inspected and repaired.
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
