NHS health checks are available every five years to people aged between 40 and 74. The purpose of a Health Check is to check both circulatory and vascular health in order to detect potential problems before they can cause damage. These problems include type 2 Diabetes, kidney disease and heart disease.
An NHS health check consists of measuring your height and weight, asking questions surrounding your family history, checking your cholesterol/blood pressure and asking some simple lifestyle questions.
The health checks are carried out by our Healthcare Assistants. If you think you may be eligible for an NHS health check, please call us on 01945 660460 or visit our reception.
We are now booking patients in for the autumn COVID-19 booster and flu vaccination. SMS invitations will be sent out daily with a link allowing patients to book an appointment online. Alternatively, you can call us on 01945 660460 or visit us at reception to book an appointment.
This will be a single appointment where you will receive both vaccinations if you are eligible.
We have also recently uploaded our September newsletter, focusing on the NHS app and online medical record access. To read it, please click on the button below.
