Prescription Requests (Routine & Urgent)

Routine Prescription Requests

The easiest, quickest and safest way to request your medication is online; for more information please visit our homepage.

You can also order medication via the practice email address:

prescriptionrequests.northbrink@nhs.net

Alternatively you can complete the counterfoil from your repeat prescription and place it in one of the boxes inside the practice (located outside the dispensary and pharmacy) or at the front and rear entrances to the building.

Please allow at least 3 working days before you collect your medication from the dispensary or at least 5 working days if you are collecting it from an external pharmacy. Requests received after 2pm will not be processed until the next working day. If there are any queries regarding your prescription then please check with your pharmacy in the first instance.

Urgent Prescription Request

If an urgent prescription is required then the patient, or representative, will need to come into the practice and complete an urgent medication request form at the dispensary. The completed form should then be handed back in for a dispensary team member to process.

If medication is required on the same day, this form will need to be submitted BEFORE 4pm. The prescription will then be ready for collection, from the DISPENSARY, between 5pm and 6pm.

Restricted access to the rear car park

There was an incident over the weekend where part of the wall in our rear car park collapsed. The rubble has been cleared however, to ensure both patient and staff safety it has been decided to restrict access for cars to enter the car park. Patients can still walk in and enter via the rear entrance however they will need to park in the Chapel Road car park. One of the gates has been closed and barriers have been erected to guide patients around the hazard until we are able to have the wall fully inspected and repaired.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
